Making a (fashion) statement: A 12-year-old boy in England wore a skirt to school to protest the school’s uniform policy - in the summer months, girls are allowed to wear skirts but boys aren’t allowed to wear shorts. I’m glad you liked the interview! Thanks for saying so. :) I’d love to answer your questions, but I am not at liberty to answer all of them for the sake of Emily’s privacy and, potentially, her safety.
Interviewing her right now would be difficult, as she is still in the Middle East. But yes, as far as I am aware, she and her girlfriend are still together, very much alive, and well. :) I believe Emily stays on base much of the time. Her girlfriend’s job is much more high risk, but she is doing fine thus far.

the Westboro Baptist Church launched a new campaign based off of the NO H8 campaign, except changed to “GOD H8S FAGS” and “FAG ENABLERS” (aka straight supporters). Not only is this disgusting in itself, they used children for one of their photos for the cause. I seriously want to puke/burn the church down.
This makes me want to cry.
These children don’t look the least bit happy about what they’re wearing on their faces. And it’s disgusting that they would teach children this language, anyway. Christians have always told me that God doesn’t condone swearing or any kind of foul language. WBC just goes about everything in the worst way possible……
But I think this has gotten enough reblogs. Let’s end it here. Spreading it around just gives them visibility and spreads their hate message, which is what they’re counting on.
The male skeleton was found in a suburb of Prague and is buried in a manner previously only seen for female burials.
The body is believed to date from between 2900 and 2500BC and is from the Corded Ware culture of the Copper Age.
Men’s bodies from that age and culture are usually found buried with their heads towards the west and with weapons.
But this skeleton was found with its head towards the east and was surrounded by domestic jugs – as women’s bodies from the time are usually found…

awesome. but “men can stop rape” isn’t including any woman on woman sexual assault. so slightly less awesome but still…
True. The ad’s tagline seems to be “Men can stop rape,” which is kind of sexist in a way; however, it is true that most [reported] instances of rape are committed by males, the “traditional” gender binary of which is ‘men’. Even still, I decided to reblog this for its general message. But really, regardless of sex or gender, we should all be doing what the captions describe.
